About TIME
TIME was founded in France in 1987 by Roland Cattin, and its first product was a clipless pedal. Carbon frames followed in the 1990s, and the company has built nothing but carbon since. Its guiding principle is printed on the frames: Le Defi, the challenge.
The frames are made differently from almost every other carbon bike. TIME braids continuous carbon fibre into tubular sleeves (Braided Carbon Structure), places them in a closed mold, and injects resin under pressure (Resin Transfer Molding), a process borrowed from aerospace and motorsport that TIME has used for more than 20 years. Every frame is designed and made in TIME’s own European factory.
Rossignol owned the brand from 2016 until 2021, when the Cardinal Cycling Group bought the bicycle business and SRAM bought the pedals. TIME now sells framesets and complete bikes direct to US riders and through dealers, and it guarantees every frame for life against production or material defects when the owner registers the purchase.

Four current platforms cover road and gravel. The Scylon is the race bike, TIME’s flagship since 2014, from $4,999 as a frameset to $11,999 with Shimano Dura-Ace. The NXR, introduced in September 2026, is the pure road bike: Braided Carbon Structure, a Scylon-inspired fork, 32 mm tire clearance, and builds from a $2,999 frameset to $6,999 with SRAM Force AXS. The Fluidity is the endurance bike, TIME’s all-time best-seller, redeveloped for 2026 and priced from $3,999 to $10,999.
The ADHX 45 is the gravel bike, from a $2,299 frameset to $8,799 with SRAM Red XPLR, and the Alpe d’Huez Disc and Alpe d’Huez X framesets sell for $1,999 each. A TIME frameset alone costs $2,000 to $5,000 before a single component goes on, and stated-value gravel bike insurance pays the value you insured the finished build for, with no depreciation.

TIME's Warranty: What It Covers and Where It Stops
TIME guarantees its frames for life against production or material defects, for owners who register. Five terms decide what that is worth to you.
Lifetime on the frame, for the original owner
TIME frames are guaranteed for life against defects in materials and workmanship when bought from an authorized dealer or through TIME's website. The guarantee applies only to the original owner and may not be transferred to a later one.
Register within ten days
The lifetime guarantee is reserved for buyers who register the frame. TIME's registration page says to register within ten days of purchase, while the older owner's manual allows 60 days, so ten days is the safe deadline.
Two years on paint, pedals, and other parts
Pedals, hangers, other bicycle components, and the painting and enamelling are guaranteed for 2 years from the purchase date. Normal wear and tear, including product fatigue, is excluded.
Repair or replacement at TIME's discretion
TIME's remedy is limited to repairing or replacing the defective product. A replacement is a new product of equal or greater value and may differ from the original. Claims go through a specialist dealer with the original proof of purchase, or through TIME's customer service for online purchases.
Defects only: accidents and impacts are excluded
The exclusions cover damage from accidents or impacts, misuse such as jumps or acrobatic tricks, negligence, poor maintenance, and modification or assembly with non-TIME products. Those are the losses a Velosurance policy is built for.
