About Mosaic
Mosaic Cycles has built titanium frames by hand in Boulder, Colorado, since 2009, when founder Aaron Barcheck set up shop after years of welding for other builders. Every frame is still made in the Colorado shop, and the company acquired its own paint house, Spectrum Paint and Powderworks, so finish work stays in-house too.
The lineup runs on two levels. 1-Level frames are always made to order: oversized double-butted 3Al/2.5V titanium, rider-specific geometry drawn from fit data supplied by a Mosaic dealer, and a painted finish included. 2-Level frames use straight-gauge tubing in standard sizes from 48 to 62 cm, ship in a bare titanium finish, and are batch built in two to three weeks against six to eight for a made-to-order frame.
Mosaic sells only through dealers and prices its framesets at $7,500 for 1-Level and $4,200 for 2-Level, before components. The frameset carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for the original owner, and the paint two years.

Each discipline gets a 1-Level and a 2-Level frame. On the road, the RT-1 is the fully integrated made-to-order bike and the RT-2 its batch-built sibling, both with 700x35 clearance. The AR-1 and AR-2 are the all-road pair with room for 40 mm tires, and the GT-1 i55 and GT-2 i55 are the gravel race bikes redesigned around 55 mm tires. A 32-inch-wheel version of each i55 and a 45 mm i45 version round out the gravel range, and the Zero Ops program builds one-off RT-Zero and AR-Zero frames around a single rider.
Off road, the MT-1 and MT-2 are XC trail hardtails with a 67-degree head angle and geometry for a 120 to 130 mm fork. Every price above is for the frameset alone, and a finished Mosaic with an ENVE cockpit and a high-end group can cost twice that. Lifetime on the frameset, for the original owner
Mosaic guarantees against manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the frameset. The guarantee is for the original owner, with proof of purchase through an authorized Mosaic dealer.
Two years on the paint
Paint work by Spectrum Paint and Powderworks, Mosaic's in-house paint shop, is covered for two years from the ship date when it is sold as part of a Mosaic frameset.
Components carry their own makers' warranties
The components built onto a Mosaic carry the warranty of the manufacturer who made them, not Mosaic's. That includes the ENVE forks and cockpits, groupsets, and wheels on a complete bike.
Repair or replacement, at Mosaic's decision
In the event of a warranted failure, Mosaic decides whether repair or replacement of the failed item is the best resolution.
Defects only: crash damage is excluded
The warranty does not cover normal wear and usage, damage caused by crashes, or poor maintenance such as rust or paint chipping and cracking due to carelessness. Those are the losses a Velosurance policy is built for.
