What if I replaced or sold my bike?

Last updated

Your new bike is covered from the moment you buy it. Whether you are replacing your current bicycle or adding to your collection, your existing policy automatically extends to the new bike for up to 30 days from the time of purchase.

Let us know before the 30 days are up and pay any additional premium due, and coverage continues past the automatic window without a gap.

How do I add the new bike to my policy?

Log in to your Client Portal and update the policy yourself: swap the sold bike for the new one or add the new bike alongside it, confirm the insured value, and pay any difference in premium. Handled inside the 30-day window, the change carries your existing rate straight over to the new bike. The one thing to watch: the automatic extension ends 30 days after purchase, so tell us about the new bike before then.

What should I do after selling my bike?

Keep the policy active if another bike is on the way. Your current rate is locked in for as long as the policy stays in force, and swapping the new bike onto the existing policy preserves it. If you are done with cycling altogether, you can cancel anytime from the Client Portal, with no cancellation fee and a refund of any unused premium.
