How do I cancel a policy?

Canceling is quick, and you can do it yourself, anytime, from your account:

  1. Log in to your Client portal.
  2. On the presented Dasboard, click the Cancel policy link in the "I would like to" section.

There are no cancellation fees. The only thing that applies is the Minimum Earned Premium, the $100 minimum cost of any policy. If you have already paid at least $100 in premium, you receive a refund of the unused portion. If you cancel before $100 has been earned, the balance up to $100 is what remains due.

Before you cancel, consider the timing. If you are selling one bike and buying another, keeping the policy open and replacing the bike on it preserves your locked-in rate instead of starting fresh at current rates.

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

Yes. You get back any unused premium beyond the Minimum Earned Premium. Say your annual premium is $300, paid monthly at $25. After four months you have paid $100 and met the Minimum Earned Premium, so a cancellation from that point is simply prorated. Cancel earlier, at two months, and $50 remains due to satisfy the $100 minimum.

Should I cancel or replace the bike on my policy?

If a new bike is on the way, replacing it on your existing policy is usually the better move. Your locked-in rate carries forward, and a newly purchased bike is automatically covered for up to 30 days from purchase, giving you time to update the policy without a gap.
