Will the policy renew automatically?

Last updated

Your policy is set to renew automatically by default. We email you before your policy renews, so you always have a chance to review the renewal and change your mind. Each term runs 12 months, so that reminder doubles as a yearly prompt to update your bike's insured value if you have added accessories or upgrades.

There is a good reason to let it ride: staying covered without a lapse protects your rate. Renewal rewards full-term riders, and your locked-in rate carries forward, while a brand-new policy started later is quoted at current rates that rarely come down. Continuous coverage also means there is never a day when your bike is unprotected.

One thing to check before a renewal date is your payment details. For security we do not store your full card number, so if your card has changed, update it in the Client portal under Payment Information so the renewal goes through cleanly.

How do I turn off automatic renewal?

You can opt out of automatic renewal by contacting our support team. We still send the pre-renewal email either way, so turning it off never means losing track of when your term ends.

Can I cancel after the policy has renewed?

Yes. If the renewal takes effect and you decide you no longer need coverage, request a cancellation through the Client portal and you will receive a refund of any unused premium, subject to the Minimum Earned Premium. There is no cancellation fee.
