About Ventum
Ventum started in a garage with a professional triathlete and a group of engineers. Founders Jimmy Seear and Diaa Nour launched the Ventum One at the 2015 IRONMAN World Championship in Kona: a patented Z-shaped frame with no seat tube, hydration built into the top tube, and a wind-tunnel claim of 24% less drag than the top triathlon bikes of the day.
Triathlon made the brand. Ventum became the official bike sponsor of the IRONMAN World Championship in 2016, the first non-traditional frame declared legal by triathlon’s governing body, and IRONMAN’s first Global Bike Partner in 2018. The NS1 of 2019 was its first UCI-legal road bike, and the Tempus of 2025 its first UCI-legal time trial bike.
Ventum sells direct from Heber City, Utah, where it moved its headquarters at the end of 2019, and ships bikes 98% assembled. The current range covers triathlon, time trial, road, gravel, and a Class 3 electric gravel bike, and the frame, fork, and seatpost carry a lifetime warranty for the original owner.
Most popular Ventum models
Speed against the clock is the core. The One Disc is the triathlon bike, with the Z-shaped frame, a 1.4-liter hydration reservoir inside the top tube, Zipp 808 Firecrest wheels on every build, and clearance for 700 x 30c tires. The Tempus is the UCI-legal time trial bike, a conventional double-diamond frame with Profile Design 52 ASC aerobar extensions, sold from SRAM Rival AXS to Shimano Dura-Ace Di2. A $6,000 to $11,500 machine that travels to every race in a bike box is what dedicated triathlon bike insurance is written for.
Road and gravel fill out the range. The NS1 is the aero all-rounder, in its third generation since February 2026 with an 852-gram frame in size M/L and clearance for 35mm tires. The GS1 is the gravel race bike, with 56mm of tire clearance in front and 50mm in the rear and an hourglass head tube taken from the Tempus. The ES1-G is the electric GS1, a Class 3 e-bike with a Shimano EP801 motor and a 504Wh battery. Ventum sells direct, so the ranges below are its US web prices for complete bikes.

Ventum's Warranty: What It Covers and Where It Stops
Ventum offers a lifetime warranty on its frame, fork, and seatpost to the original owner. Five terms decide what that is worth to you.
Lifetime on the frame, fork, and seatpost
The frame, fork, and seatpost are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner's lifetime. If the model or generation is out of production, Ventum offers a discount on the current version as the warranty replacement.
Register within 30 days or it never starts
All bike purchases must be registered within 30 days of receipt to activate the warranty plan. Paint and decals are covered for one year from the date of purchase.
Components: 30 days with Ventum, then their makers
All components are covered by Ventum for 30 days after receipt of the bike. After that, the groupset, wheels, and other parts fall under their own manufacturers' warranties.
Labor and shipping are yours
Labor costs for installing warrantied parts, frames, forks, or accessories are excluded, and customers are charged shipping for warranty replacement items. Incorrect assembly, poor maintenance, UV damage, corrosion, and the wrong cleaning products all void coverage.
Crash damage: a reduced-price replacement for five years
Accidents, neglect, misuse, and frame modifications are not covered. Instead, Ventum offers the original owner a crash replacement frame at a significantly reduced rate for up to 5 years, excluding cosmetic damage. Those are the losses a Velosurance policy is built for.
Summary of the Ventum Bicycle Warranty (Customer Support Center), reviewed September 30, 2026. Applies to the original owner, with the bike registered within 30 days of receipt. Bikes bought through a Ventum dealer route all warranty and service requests through that shop. The manufacturer decides every warranty claim, and its full published terms govern.
