About Riese & Müller
R&M was founded in 1993 by two engineers in Darmstadt, Germany, and won the German Innovation Prize the same year the company was established. The founding product was a folding bicycle, but R&M quickly found its identity in electric bikes: precision-engineered, premium-priced, and built for riders who put reliability and specification above cost.
R&M was among the first manufacturers to combine full suspension with an electric drivetrain on urban and touring bikes, a configuration that is now standard across the lineup. The company adopted Bosch mid-drive motors early and built most models around the Bosch Performance Line, Cargo Line, and Speed Line systems. Dual-battery configurations, which can push range past 100 miles on a single outing, became an R&M design signature.
Every R&M bike is manufactured in Darmstadt and sold through specialty dealers. Retail prices run from roughly $3,500 for entry urban models to over $12,000 for top-specification cargo or Superdelite builds. R&M occupies the premium end of the e-bike market: riders buy in because nothing else is comparably specified at any price point.

The Delite and Superdelite are R&M’s full-suspension touring platforms, powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX motor and available with dual-battery configurations up to 1,250Wh of total capacity. The Delite Mountain and Superdelite Mountain run 27.5-inch wheels and trail-oriented geometry for mixed road and off-road use. These are R&M’s highest-specification production models.
Urban commuting spans several lines. The Homage is a full-suspension step-through city e-bike, bringing touring-bike refinement to everyday urban riding. The Nevo is the more accessible city platform. The Roadster covers standard commuting in upright and Mixte frame variants. The Charger and Supercharger target longer-distance commuters with a more forward riding position, while the Multicharger extends the Charger chassis with a longer rear end that accepts a child seat or cargo system.
Cargo capacity comes from the Load and Load 60, longtail e-bikes built around the Bosch Cargo Line motor for passenger and freight transport, and the Packster 70, a box-front cargo bike with a large front cargo area and optional child seat. The Tinker rounds out the lineup as R&M’s compact city option, a smaller-wheeled urban bike for riders who need something nimble and easy to store.
