About Allied
Allied Cycle Works started at a bankruptcy auction. The Arkansas company bought the equipment of Canadian frame builder Guru Cycles, set up its own carbon factory, and launched in 2017 with a custom road frame claimed at 800 grams. Its founding team came from Orbea USA, Specialized, and Guru, and RZC Investments, the Walton-family firm that bought Rapha in 2017, is part-owner.
Racing made the name. Colin Strickland and Amity Rockwell won the men’s and women’s 2019 Dirty Kanza 200, the race now called Unbound Gravel, on the ABLE the year it launched. The BC40 later set the women’s course record at Leadville in 6:48:55, and World Champion Kate Courtney races it.
Allied designs, tests, paints, and assembles its bikes in Rogers, Arkansas, next to the Bentonville trails that named the BC40. Carbon layup and molding for the current ABLE moved to a partner factory in Asia in 2025. Every frame can be ordered in custom paint, and the lifetime frame warranty covers original owners who register within two weeks.

Gravel is where Allied made its name. The ABLE is the race bike, with clearance for 700 x 57mm tires, lowered chainstays, in-frame storage, and the adjustable ST03 stem, sold in SRAM Rival through RED builds. The ABLE EX keeps the platform but switches to external cable routing and a SRAM Rival AXS mullet drivetrain at $4,750, the most accessible way into the range. The ECHO is the road bike, with an integrated cockpit, clearance for 45mm tires, and room for 1x or 2x wireless drivetrains. The BC40 is the 120mm-travel cross-country racer named for Bentonville’s Back 40 trail, with a target frame weight of 1,950 grams including the shock in size large. The FITZ is the featherweight trail bike, with 140mm of travel, a 64.5-degree head tube angle, and magnetic in-frame storage. Every Allied frameset is also sold on its own for riders who want to build from scratch.

Allied's Warranty: What It Covers and Where It Stops
Allied warrants its bicycle frames against defective materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner. Five terms decide what that is worth to you.
Lifetime on the frame, two years on paint
Every ALLIED bicycle frame is covered against defective materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner. Paint is warrantied for two years.
Register within two weeks or it never starts
The warranty is not effective unless the original owner sends ALLIED a completed Bicycle Frame Registration Card within 2 weeks of the purchase date. It is not transferable, so a second owner gets no frame warranty.
Receipt in hand, shipping on you
Claims go through an authorized ALLIED dealer or by shipping the frame to ALLIED in Rogers, with the original dated receipt showing the frame's serial number. You pay the shipping charges, and ALLIED decides whether to repair the frame or replace it with the same or a comparable model.
Racing and stunt riding void it
Failures that result from racing or stunt riding are excluded, along with abuse, alteration, improper assembly or maintenance, and normal wear and tear, including fatigue. For a brand whose bikes win gravel and cross-country races, that is the clause to read twice.
Defects only: accidents are excluded
Repair or replacement of a defective frame is the only remedy, and failures that result from an accident are not covered. Those are the losses a Velosurance policy is built for.
