How do I file a claim?

Last updated

Filing a bicycle insurance claim is easy. Start the claim procedure online, tell us what happened, and a claims professional takes it from there to get your bike repaired or replaced.

Moving quickly comes down to having the details on hand. The more complete your first submission, the sooner the assessment can begin.

What do I need to file a claim?

Have your policy details, the date, and a short description of the loss ready when you start. Add photos of the damage, or a copy of the police report if your bike was stolen, and a repair estimate from your bike shop if you already have one. A complete first submission lets the claim move straight to assessment instead of waiting on follow-up requests.

What happens after I file my claim?

Your claim is reviewed, the damage is assessed, and you are guided through the repair or replacement. When a frame is involved, the policy covers the labor to disassemble and reassemble the bike, not just the part itself, which we cover in how a damaged frame is handled.
