About Priority
Priority Bicycles launched on Kickstarter in 2014, founded by Dave Weiner in New York City to build low-maintenance urban bikes for riders who did not want to deal with chain grease and frequent drivetrain service. The original product was a single-speed, belt-drive cruiser that arrived ready to ride out of the box and replaced the chain with a Gates Carbon Drive belt and a sealed internal gear hub on later trims.
Priority has built the whole lineup around belt drives, internal gear hubs, and disc brakes since. The Continuum Onyx pairs a Gates Carbon Drive belt with a Shimano Nexus or Enviolo continuously variable hub for hilly cities; the Apollo gravel platform brings the same belt drivetrain to drop bars; and the 600 and 600ADX adventure bikes run on Pinion gearboxes for long-distance touring.
The electric range arrived later. The Current Plus runs a high-torque rear-hub motor with a Gates belt and internal-hub drivetrain; the Skyline Smart.Shift uses an Enviolo automatic continuously variable hub; and the Glide and E-Coast cover the entry tier. Priority sells direct from a Manhattan flagship and online across the US.

The Continuum Onyx is the flagship commuter platform, the Classic Plus and Coast are the entry single-speed cruisers, and the Eight steps up to a Shimano Nexus 8-speed internal hub for hillier rides.
The adventure and gravel side runs through the Apollo Gravel belt-drive drop-bar, the 600 multi-surface tourer, and the 600ADX with a Pinion gearbox and electronic shifting. The Vanth full-suspension enduro is the brand’s first foray into mountain.
