Race week, packing, and the moments that matter most

Loading the bike into a travel case on the morning of a flight, picking it up at oversized baggage in an unfamiliar airport, reassembling it in a hotel room, riding the course the day before the event, racking it overnight in transition, and breaking it down again for the trip home all create handling moments where damage and theft are more likely than they are during the race itself.
