About Lectric Ebikes
Levi Conlow and Robby Deziel co-founded Lectric eBikes in 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona, after Conlow went shopping for an e-bike and found the market priced him out. Their first model, the Lectric LX, did not connect with buyers. Rather than double down, they gathered direct customer feedback, rebuilt the product, and launched the Lectric XP in 2020.
The XP launched at under $999, making it one of the most aggressively priced folding Class 2 e-bikes in the US at the time. The specs were genuinely competitive: a 500W rear hub motor, throttle plus five levels of pedal assist, fat tires, and a foldable frame suited to apartments and transit commutes. Consumer reviews were immediate and strong. Lectric sold over 100,000 units in the first two years and became one of the best-selling e-bike brands in America by unit volume.
Lectric remains headquartered in Phoenix and operates entirely direct-to-consumer without retail distribution. The company has since expanded the XP platform through multiple generations and added new product lines including a trike, a full-size commuter, and a premium mid-drive model, all positioned below comparable bikes from larger brands.
Most popular Lectric models
The XP platform remains the brand foundation, now in its third generation. The XP 3.0 runs a 750W rear hub motor (1,310W peak) and a 672Wh battery in a compact 20-inch folding frame, with selectable Class 2 throttle or Class 3 pedal-assist up to 28 mph. The XP Lite 2.0 is the lightweight folder for riders prioritizing portability — 49 lb complete weight, simplified spec, sub-$800 price.
The XPress family is the full-size 27.5-inch commuter line. XPress 750 runs the same 750W motor and torque-sensor-tuned PWR+ programming in a high-step or step-thru frame; XPress 500 drops to a 500W motor and smaller battery for the sub-$1,200 entry tier. The XPeak 2.0 adds a suspension fork and knobby tires for off-road riding. The XP Trike 2 is America’s best-selling electric tricycle, redesigned for stability and comfort.
The XPedition 2.0 is Lectric’s longtail cargo e-bike — 450 lb total payload, dual-battery long-range option, and an extended rear rack that carries two kids or a week of groceries. The Lectric ONE is the premium commuter, with a Gates carbon belt drive, Pinion C-Line internal gearbox, and the highest power-to-weight ratio in the lineup. The XPedition’s load capacity is the kind of replacement value that homeowner’s policies frequently cap below, which is where stand-alone cargo bike insurance from Velosurance fills the gap.

Lectric's flagship folding fat-tire e-bike, an iteration on the best-selling XP platform. 750W rear hub motor (1,310W peak), 48V/14Ah (672Wh) battery, 20-inch fat tires, integrated rack and lights, Class 2 throttle with selectable Class 3 mode up to 28 mph.

Lectric's lightweight folding e-bike — 49 lb complete weight, 300W rear hub motor (818W peak), and a slimmer 20-inch frame for riders prioritizing portability over fat-tire capability. Folds for transit and apartment storage.

The full-size 27.5-inch commuter platform with a 750W rear hub motor, 48V/14Ah battery, and an industry-leading torque sensor paired with Lectric's PWR+ programming for smooth power delivery. Class 2 with selectable Class 3 mode.

The step-thru version of XPress 750, with a low-step aluminum frame for shorter riders and easier mounts. Same 750W motor, 672Wh battery, and torque-sensor drive as the high-step.

The entry-level full-size commuter, with a 500W rear hub motor, smaller 36V battery, and the same 27.5-inch wheel platform as XPress 750. Built for new e-bike buyers at sub-$1,200 MSRP.

The longtail cargo e-bike, rated to a 450 lb payload capacity (including rider). Dual high-capacity batteries on the LR trim deliver extended range, 750W rear hub motor handles hills under load, and an extended rear rack carries two kids or a week of groceries.

The off-road e-MTB-style platform with a 750W rear hub motor (1,310W peak), front suspension fork, 27.5-inch wheels with knobby tires, and Class 2/Class 3 selectable modes. Built for trail riders coming from cars rather than mountain bikers coming from singletrack.

America's best-selling electric tricycle, redesigned for the second generation with improved stability and comfort. 500W rear hub motor with throttle, large rear basket, and 20-inch wheels for low standover and easy mounts.

The premium commuter with Lectric's lightest and most powerful platform — 750W Sutto motor with Stealth M24 technology delivers 1,310W of peak power, paired with a Gates carbon belt drive and a Pinion C-Line internal gearbox. Award-winning industrial design with the highest power-to-weight ratio in the lineup.
